The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing marketing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities for Crepe Runner. This role combines sales, marketing, and business development responsibilities to achieve business objectives and expand the customer base. This role will be directed by the CEO and requires extensive alignment to his vision and targets.
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
– Identify and cultivate relationships with potential corporate clients, catering opportunities, and other business partnerships.
– Manage the sales process from lead generation to closure, including negotiations, contract signings, and follow–up.
– Training staff for a sales mindset.
2. Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
– Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the quick service restaurant’s brand, products, and services.
– Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends to inform marketing campaigns.
– Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, advertising, promotions, and public relations activities.
3. Business Development & Project Management:
– Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market expansion, new customer segments, and potential partnerships.
– Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry trends to identify areas for growth and differentiation.
– Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
– Project management of new branches (from building to opening) and entertainment events.
– Initiating franchise department and operationalizing it.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
– Nurture and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
– Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in products, services, and customer experience.
– Implement customer retention strategies and initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
– Track and analyze sales performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and business development activities.
– Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations.
– Utilize data–driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize sales and marketing strategies.
– Any other Ad–hoc reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
– Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
– Strong understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and business development practices.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
– Solid knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media channels, and marketing analytics.
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
– Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
– Creative thinking and problem–solving skills to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast–paced environment.
– Flexibility to adapt to changing market trends and business needs.
– Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
